2013 Honda CR-Z Officially Unveiled at Paris Motor Show

Ever since it was first announced, we here at DCH Gardena Honda have been waiting patiently for the 2013 Honda CR-Z to be revealed to the public. And if you're a performance enthusiast who also has a green thumb, chances are you've been waiting patiently too.

Along the way, Honda has teased us with up-close shots and posts on Facebook, but we knew the real announcement would be well worth the wait.  And we're happy to say we've been proven right.

Upon joining the new Honda offered to drivers from the greater Gardena area and beyond, the 2013 CR-Z will sport a wide range of improvements in the realms of both performance and design. Specifically, Honda says that it will produce a total of 147 horsepower, which marks a 13-hp increase over the current model, as well as 140 lb.-ft. of torque, which is a 16 lb.-ft. increase.

Meanwhile, on the design end of things, the all-new CR-Z will feature new LED running lights, a redesigned grille, and a new rear diffuser. And to top the new look off, Honda has added two new color options to the sport hybrid coupe's lineup: Energetic Yellow and Aurora Violet.

As for its efficiency? Honda says that the fuel economy will see no impact from the performance improvements or changes to its design. Of course, the next question on your mind is likely when it will be available. Look for the 2013 Honda CR-Z at 15541 South Western Ave., Gardena, CA 90249 this January.
