The Civic GX has an advantage over hybrids, too... carpool stickers that are valid through 2015. The yellow stickers that used to be on all of the Prius hybrids are no more... As of July 1st, 2011, only white carpool stickers are valid in California.
Natural gas vehicles (or NGV), like the Honda Civic GX, are eligible for the new white stickers..
